SAMPLE NOTE / FOR THE COMPANY TO REPLACE
A request moves fastest when it carries the blade identity. Five fields are enough to review a standard enquiry; anything you do not have yet can be left open and discussed.
The five fields
Outside diameter — the outer circle of the blade. Bore — the arbor hole, including the fit detail if it matters. Thickness — the plate thickness, not the width of the cut. Coating — TiN, VAPO, TiCN or TiAlN where the coating is decided. Quantity — because the price is calculated for the order, not read from a list.
If you do not have all five
Start with what you know. The selection path begins from the material to be cut plus the blade dimensions you have; the grade follows from the material. Machine, cutting speed and cutting method are not needed to begin.
Read the marking on the blade
If a blade is already in front of you, the marking carries its identity: diameter, thickness, bore and the tooth designation, with a batch number the supplier traces back. A photograph of that marking is a useful starting point even when the paperwork is missing.
What happens next
The requirement is reviewed, any missing detail is raised, and the quotation is prepared for the confirmed specification and quantity. Product price and transport are listed separately, and the confirmed combination is the one the order is checked against.
