CHOOSING THE GRADE
The material decides
the grade.
DM05 for common metals such as ordinary steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper. DM06 for better wear resistance where tool life and cutting efficiency requirements are higher. M42 for difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel, titanium alloys and high-temperature alloys.
Coatings: TiN, VAPO, TiCN and TiAlN, chosen together with the grade for the material you cut.

I don’t know which grade I need. Can I still ask?
Yes. Tell us the material you cut and the dimensions you have, and we will recommend the grade.
Do I need to give the machine, cutting speed or cutting method?
No. The material and the blade dimensions are enough to start.
My dimensions are approximate. Is that OK?
Yes. Send what you have and say they are approximate. We confirm the exact dimensions with you before quoting.
